A workshop exploring the lives and emotions of the characters in 'Of Mice and Men' and providing insight intoise with the fears and dreams of the characters in 'Of Mice and Men'. Creative writing 'Recreations' option The improvisation element of the workshop can also form the basis of the Speaking and Listening Role Playing task. Activities: Students will watch a monologue delivered by Slim Students will then take part in an improvisation workshop. Students will watch a monologue performed by an actor in the role of Steinbeck Throughout the day students will keep a notebook in which, at regular intervals, they will record their understanding of themes/ideas, character/voice.
